The Board of Study in Language and Literature Studies at PGIHS is committed to fostering advanced knowledge, critical thinking, and scholarly research in a diverse range of languages and literary traditions. The Board offers a variety of postgraduate degree and training programmes in Sinhala, Tamil, English, and Arabic, catering to students with a passion for language, literature, culture, and communication.
Through its Postgraduate Diploma, Master of Arts (MA), Master of Philosophy (MPhil), and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programmes, the Board creates opportunities for in-depth exploration of language, linguistics, literary analysis, creative writing, translation studies, and cultural studies.
