What Students Saying
To give a brief account of how I came to study at Peradeniya, a venerable monk once told me that Sri Lanka is an ideal place to study Buddhism. On his suggestion, I visited Peradeniya and having seen the surroundings and nature and the beautiful campus, I started my journey reading for a PhD in Buddhist Studies at the University of Peradeniya. I was inspired by and learned much from my teachers such as Prof. P.B. Meegaskumbura, Prof. P. D. Premasiri, and other academic staff.
