Psychology, Philosophy and Education
The Board of Study for Psychology, Philosophy and Education offers postgraduate study programmes and other training programmes in Psychology, Philosophy and Education. The Board of Study currently conducts postgraduate diplomas in Psychology, Philosophy and Education and Master of Arts, Master of Philosophy and Doctor of Philosophy degree programmes in Philosophy and Education. About 40 students follow programmes in Psychology and Philosophy each year. The postgraduate programme in Education is the largest programme of the Institute in a single discipline. The Postgraduate diploma programmes in Education (both full time and week-end programmes) accommodate more than 300 students annually. About 50 students enroll in the Master of Arts, Master of Philosophy and Doctor of Philosophy programmes in Education annually.

Admission Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification; and
- An equivalent qualification; AND
- Two years of work experience
Qualification Requirements
- Master of Education degree is awarded upon satisfactory completion of 32 credits in a distribution of 24 credits from course work, 6 credits from a guided research and another 6 credits from an independent project.
