- Promote the adoption of effective teaching and learning methods to ensure the productive and continuous development of postgraduate students and participants in the institute’s non-degree programs.
- It is responsible for the preparation, review, and validation of important academic and governing documents related to the institute’s operations, ensuring they align with quality assurance standards and institutional goals.
- The IQAC educates and engages academic and non-academic staff, as well as students, on the significance of quality assurance processes, encouraging them to actively contribute to the enhancement of program quality.
- Regular surveys and feedback mechanisms are conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of the institute’s activities. These insights are used to improve operational efficiency and the quality of the educational experience.
- The IQAC facilitates the Institutional Review (IR) and Program Reviews (PR) of the PGIHS, as well as other quality assurance-related activities, ensuring the institute’s performance is regularly assessed and improved.
- Based on feedback from IR and PR, the IQAC develops follow-up activities aimed at improving quality in key areas, including curriculum development, teaching methods, and research initiatives.
The cell plays a key role in the development and review of policy documents related to curriculum design, teaching, learning, assessment strategies, and research development, ensuring these policies support continuous improvement.
